Choose the level of support that’s right for you...

The Catalyst and Studio Cohorts are guided 9-week learning experiences. You’ll move through the course week by week, building your skills through practice, reflection, and real application alongside a small group of people who care about communicating ideas that matter.

Both cohorts include the full course content. The difference is how much input, feedback, and direct guidance you want along the way.

The Mentoring Circle is a year-long small group mentoring experience designed for people who want continued support while developing and embedding their SketchNoting practice over time.

Whether you’re looking for a structured introduction, deeper expert guidance, or longer-term creative accountability, there’s an option designed to meet you where you are.

Not sure which to choose?

If you’re on the fence, here’s a way to think about it:

  • If you mainly want structure, ideas, and space to practise → Catalyst Cohort

  • If you want feedback, clarity, and faster confidence → Studio Cohort

  • If you prefer a longer timeframe to integrate and apply your learning, or want a way to continue after taking part in the Catalyst or Studio Cohort → Mentoring Circle

What this can unlock for you

By the end of the 9 weeks, participants typically find they can:

  • Turn complex ideas into clear, engaging visual notes

  • Follow and capture conversations in real time

  • Develop a personal, repeatable sketchnoting approach

  • Communicate their work in ways that are more accessible and impactful

And just as importantly:

  • Feel more confident sharing ideas visually

  • Let go of the belief that they 'can’t draw'

  • Start using sketchnoting in their day-to-day work

Need some help securing employer funding?

Training budgets can be limited and employers need to see clear value before approving professional development requests. This course is designed to build practical communication skills that can support engagement, learning, collaboration and impact across a wide range of changemaking contexts.

To make the process easier, you can use this simple Training Request template and adapt to your role, organisation and goals. It will help you explain the value of the course and make a strong case for why this investment will benefit both you and your work.

A small cohort, by design

This course is intentionally limited to 20 participants.

That keeps the space:

  • Focused

  • supportive

  • and genuinely interactive

Places in the Studio Cohort are limited to 6 and the Mentoring Circle is limited to 5 to ensure you get the best out of the group mentoring sessions.

A final note...

This isn’t about becoming an artist.

It’s about learning a way to think, communicate, and connect ideas visually, in a way that supports the work you already care about. If that matters to you, you’ll get a lot from this.
