SketchNoting for Changemakers: Drawn to Change

These Terms and Conditions apply to all participants enrolling in the ‘SketchNoting for Changemakers: Drawn to Change’ course provided by Inklusive Nature Studios Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By enrolling in the course, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

 

1. Course Overview

‘SketchNoting for Changemakers: Drawn to Change’ is a 9-week online learning programme combining:

  • Pre-recorded video lessons

  • Weekly activities and exercises

  • Community discussion and peer learning

  • Optional live support sessions (for Studio Cohort tier participants only)

Course materials are delivered weekly to support a paced cohort learning experience with plenty of time to practice reflect and reach your learning goals.

 

2. Eligibility

Participants must:

  • Be aged 18 or over, or have permission from a parent/guardian

  • Provide accurate registration information

  • Use the course respectfully and lawfully

We reserve the right to refuse or remove access where behaviour breaches these Terms or harms the learning environment.

 

3. Course Access and Delivery

3.1 Access Period

Participants receive:

  • Access to the 9-week taught programme during the live cohort

  • Continued access to core course materials for 6 months from the course start date

  • Access to the associated community for 6 months from the course start date unless otherwise stated

3.2 Weekly Release Structure

Course content is intentionally released weekly. Participants may not receive full access to all materials immediately upon enrolment.

3.3 Platform Access

The course and community are hosted on Systeme.io or associated platforms and accessible via a web browser. Participants are responsible for ensuring they have:

  • A suitable internet connection

  • Compatible devices/software

  • Access to email communications

We are not responsible for third-party platform outages or technical failures beyond our reasonable control.

 

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Fees

Course fees are listed at the time of purchase and may vary depending on:

  • Early bird pricing

  • Cohort level selected

  • Promotional offers

All prices are stated in GBP unless otherwise specified.

4.2 Payment Plans

Where payment plans are offered:

  • Payments must be made on time

  • Missed payments may result in suspended course access

  • Participants remain responsible for the full agreed course fee

4.3 Taxes

Any applicable taxes will be charged where legally required. Participants are responsible for any additional local taxes, duties, currency conversion fees, or bank charges arising in their own jurisdiction.

 

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1 Participant Cancellation

Participants may cancel:

  • Within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, provided they have not accessed course materials

  • Before the official course start date for a refund minus any non-refundable payment processing fees

Once the course has started and materials have been accessed, refunds are generally not available.

5.2 Exceptional Circumstances

We recognise that illness, disability, caring responsibilities, and life events can affect participation. Requests for partial refunds, transfers, or deferred participation may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

5.3 Course Cancellation by Us

If we cancel the course before it begins, participants will receive:

  • A full refund, or

  • The option to transfer to a future cohort

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the course.

 

6. Community Guidelines

We aim to create a welcoming, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.

Participants agree to:

  • Treat others with dignity and respect

  • Avoid harassment, discrimination, bullying, or abusive behaviour

  • Respect differing experiences, identities, and perspectives

  • Engage constructively in discussions and feedback

We reserve the right to remove participants from the course or community without refund where behaviour seriously harms others or breaches these guidelines.

 

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Materials

All course materials, including videos, worksheets, illustrations, slides, and written content, remain the intellectual property of Vicky Bowskill and Inklusive Nature Studios Ltd unless otherwise stated.

Participants may:

  • Use materials for personal learning and practice

  • Share limited excerpts with attribution for non-commercial purposes

Participants may not:

  • Reproduce, resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit course materials

  • Upload substantial excepts of course content to public platforms

  • Share paid access with others

7.2 Participant Work

Participants retain copyright and ownership of any work they create during the course and are responsible for not infringing on others’ copyright.

By sharing work within the course community, participants grant us a non-exclusive permission to:

  • Display the work within the learning environment

  • Feature selected work in promotional materials, presentations, or social media

We will always aim to credit creators appropriately unless anonymity is requested.

Participants may opt out of promotional use by notifying us in writing.

 

8. Recording and Live Sessions

Live sessions may be recorded for educational purposes and shared with enrolled participants.

Participants should avoid sharing confidential or sensitive personal information during live sessions.

Where possible, participants may choose whether to appear on camera or use audio.

 

9. Educational Disclaimer

This course is provided for educational and professional development purposes only.

We do not guarantee:

  • Specific business outcomes

  • Income generation

  • Employment opportunities

  • Particular artistic or professional results

Participant progress depends on individual engagement, practice, and circumstances.

 

10. Accessibility and Inclusion

We are committed to making the course as accessible and inclusive as reasonably possible.

Participants are encouraged to contact us regarding access needs, accommodations, or barriers to participation. While not all requests may be possible, we will make reasonable efforts to support participation.

 

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses

  • Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the course

  • We are not responsible for participant-created content or third-party platforms

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion would be unlawful.

 

12. Privacy and Data Protection

Personal information will be processed in accordance with applicable UK data protection law and our Privacy Policy.

We will only use participant information for purposes related to:

  • Course delivery

  • Community management

  • Payment processing

  • Relevant communications

We will not sell or share personal data to third parties.

 

13. Changes to the Course

We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to:

  • Course content

  • Scheduling

  • Guest contributors

  • Delivery methods

  • Community platforms

Where significant changes are necessary, we will communicate these as clearly as possible.

 

14. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
